Downtown Seattle homesDowntown Seattle sits on the waterfront of Elliott Bay, the entry to Puget Sound and the Pacific Ocean.  Seattle's core financial business high-rises and condo towers sit near the water's edge in the downtown and Belltown neighborhoods.  The atmosphere is busy and lively here, but remarkably clean and safe for a large city.

The central core of Seattle's neighborhoods range from city bustle to quiet, empty streets, but they're all just a few minutes from downtown.  North of downtown are Queen Anne and Magnolia.  These are some of the most respected and beautiful neighborhoods in the city.  Belltown is the center of the condo sphere just on the North edge of downtown, and adjacent to South Lake Union where tech business is redefining the city.

East of downtown, Capitol Hill is the busiest neighborhood and the center of the restaurant and entertainment scene.  First Hill, just to its South, contains many of the city's hospitals and medical facilities, earning it the nickname "Pill Hill".

Further East, waterfront communities like Madison Park, Washington Park, Denny-Blaine, Madrona, and Leschi provide a more residential feel while still retaining an in-city vibe.
