Madison Park was an area of Seattle where many of the city's founding families resided. It's not hard to see why it was their first choice, with easy Lake Washington access, beautiful green surroundings, and a short distance into downtown and the Puget Sound waterfront. The Madison Park neighborhood is often lumped in with Washington Park, Broadmoor, and Denny-Blaine when referring to the upscale section of eastern Seattle that's so sought after by locals and those moving here from other locations. With its own parks, shopping, and dining along Madison St, real estate values in Madison Park are always strong.
